Testimonials

“I really loved the new work that you almost lost - the use of colour and the merging of various techniques spoke of not only Culture and Kin but also your ability to work in various styles to speak to - as Samia Goudie notes - who you are and what’s important to you.”

"Rhubee Neale, I treasure your painting which I call by its original name ‘Sisters standing together’. This means a lot to me as I’m the youngest of 3 sisters - we had no brothers. Our middle sister died several years ago, our oldest sister is in a nursing home with some ‘cognitive decline’, meaning I can no longer have a proper conversation with her. And then there’s me - hanging on to what’s left of that generation of our nuclear family, trying to remain standing like your wonderful trees. Thank heavens I have them on my wall to keep being inspired by them every day.”

“Rhubee, your own, very personal style of folk Art/storyline - wrapping up your childhood and family - endears you to us followers. More, please.”
